Accessible Care for Every Child

The Acorn Children’s Clinic, located in the heart of the Ashdown Forest in Sussex, is dedicated to providing complementary therapy to children from families of all incomes, including those in financial hardship.

Our mission is supported by part-funding from the National Lottery, allowing us to offer lower-cost treatments to families in need.

Alongside children and families, we also treat pregnant and post-natal women. Whoever we are treating, we always do so holistically to help restore, maintain and support physical and emotional health and wellbeing.

Gentle and Non-Invasive Treatments
Osteopathy for babies and children is a safe treatment that uses subtle hands-on techniques to release tension, improve mobility, and optimise bodily functions. Our experienced paediatric osteopaths use methods such as cranial osteopathy to support your child’s health.
ACUPUNCTURE

Ancient Practices for Modern Healing
Acupuncture involves inserting hair-thin needles into specific points to restore harmony in the body. For sensitive children, we offer non-needle techniques such as Paediatric Tui Na, Moxibustion, Shonishin, and gentle massage with essential oils.

MULTI-BED CLINIC

Comfortable and Supportive Environment

In our multi-bed clinic, treatments are often administered alongside other children, creating a comfortable space. We also offer quiet treatment areas for children who need a calmer environment.

Flexible Payment Options

This much needed project is well supported and gained part funding from the National Lottery, making treatment accessible to all. This allows us to offer lower-cost treatments on a sliding scale to those families in financial need, and to those families who could not afford longer term treatments if needed.

In order to keep the Acorn Children’s Clinic running, we rely on families paying the higher fee where financially possible. Your contribution, along with our part-funding, helps the clinic to continue to offer our services and to support children from families in financial hardship within our community.
